Today was forecasted to be another snowy day, so we decided to check out the town of Jackson, a quaint little modern day cowboy town, which probably completely transforms when the ski season opens.

| Pretty much also our agenda during this trip! |
I didn't realize that the elk bulls shed those massive horns EVERY year and then grow it all back again. Its apparently called elk shedding. And similar to their human counterparts only the males have horns.

If you remove the cars, and replace the tar with dirt roads, this little place can almost still pass as a proper old time cowboy town.

The weather forecast was spot on and it started to dump some more fluffy white stuff. Which made the town even prettier.
Of course we also had to visit the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and sit on its saddle bar stools. According to its website, it "has the best live western music in the Tetons and it remains the number one bar in Jackson Hole. It is a vital part of western Americana, and, is renowned throughout the world as an example of what the wild Wyoming west was, and still is."
We took a drive out to the Jackson Hole ski resort which was not yet open.

Part of my planning involved getting in touch with the Jackson Hole Free Flight Club, as I was VERY keen to paraglide here in Jackson Hole. But our timing wasn't good given the volatile North American weather conditions . . .

Jackson Hole by night. Still pretty.
